Hello there :)
It has been already a while since our latest Autumn ritual creative sketchbook practice.
Since then I didn't have the chance to return to my paintings properly until yesterday morning when I decided to glue with matt medium some leaves on the little paintings I've created during the workshop. During this time of the year I love collecting leaves from the ground and drying them inside my journals and books. I often forget I got them hidden and it is nice to surprisingly find them again sometime later.
These ones I got them few years ago and it is great to see how the color of most of them preserved since I picked them out from the ground. To me drying leaves it is almost like freezing a moment of time <3
So here are few of my paintings I feel like sharing with you here, I've been using acrylics, water and some lovely pigments some friends got me from Morocco. I enjoyed mixing the pigments with the acrylic paints too, some really lovely warm color palettes started to appear. I'll be looking to bring some warm tones to my bigger paintings too as I've been sticking a lot to greens and blues lately.
Following the workshop I felt quite relaxed and days in London were gorgeous. On a morning walk to work I felt taking a longer route and took some photographs....
